Civil Engineers – all levels


Purpose of the Position:

We are seeking applications from Civil & Structural Engineers from Site Engineers through to Senior Project Engineers. Our engineering roles include organising and managing the costs, programme and construction of all planned works on the project. You could find yourself managing small teams both within Civils and Structures teams. Be strong advocates in Quality, Environment, Health & Safety. If you are interested in gaining more experience within Roads Infrastructure than a position on Puhoi to Warkworth maybe the opportunity for you.

Qualification & Experience needed:

– Engineering degree with a Structures and Civils background is essential
– Strong analytical and management skills
– Experience working on structures within a major Construction project
– Experience with building box culverts and viaducts preferred


General Labouring & Operator Positions:


Earthworks Foreman (multiple vacancies)

This role will suit an experienced Foreman/Operator/Supervisor who is looking for a new challenge on a large road infrastructure project and feels they have the drive and experience to manage the immense earthworks needed for project completion. Strong local experience in major earthwork projects including working with the fickle Auckland weather throughout the year. Experience in NZ approved Erosion Control procedures is also essential

Requirement Include:
– Previous experience in similar role on large infrastructure projects
– Well-developed skills in earthworks and drainage
– Good resource/material utilization skills and experience
– Ability to lead, mentor and motivate a team
– Ability to take direction from senior staff
– A good attitude

Skills Requirement:
– Leading a workforce including subcontractors and trades-people
– Chairing daily pre-start/tool box meetings
– Prepare reports and forecasts, including summary of construction progress, personnel forecasts, and expenditures forecast
– Monitor the activities of subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules
– Inducting staff and leading by example with respect to HSE


Hammerhand & Carpenters

Purpose of position:

Preparing the projects worksites for sub-contractors. Laying out the tools and materials based on the daily worksheet activities.  Being prepared to move across multiple offices along the 18.6 km site.

Attributes & Experience required:
– Proven experience with being on the tools
– Good Numeracy and Literacy skills
– Good Work ethics
– Dedicated and willing to learn
– Reliable and Honest


General Labourers

In preparation for the next earthworks season, we are also inviting expressions of interest for the following positions:
– Unskilled to Skilled Labourer
– Leading Hand
– Working Foreman
– Welder


Hiab Operator

Requirement Includes:
– Regular contact with external customers
– Loading and unloading of goods
– Delivering to sites across Puhoi to Warkworth
– Working in all weathers
– Manual handling duties
– Delivering materials

Skills Requirement:
– Minimum Class 4 License
– Hiab / Crane cert unit 16617 preferred but not essential
– Hands on role type of person
– Role includes manual handling
– Hiab Endorsement required
